Henley Power | 150MW/300MWh Shared Energy Storage Power Station in Xuzhou Officially Completed and Put into Operation

Located in Pei County, Xuzhou, the project ranks among Jiangsu’s first large-scale grid-side standalone energy storage projects incorporated into provincial power planning, with a total investment of approximately 600 million RMB. Equipped with large-scale containerized energy storage systems and supporting 220kV transmission lines, the station features ultra-fast grid dispatching response capability.
After commissioning, the facility provides peak shaving and valley filling, renewable energy integration, grid frequency & voltage regulation, as well as emergency backup support. It significantly boosts local photovoltaic power consumption in Northern Jiangsu, relieves grid load pressure during peak demand, enhances the flexible regulation capability of Xuzhou’s new power system, and promotes the integrated development of wind-solar-storage infrastructure.
Adopting a shared energy storage operation model, the station offers flexible capacity leasing services for renewable energy plants as well as industrial and commercial consumers. It effectively connects renewable energy generation with stable grid operation, establishing a benchmark grid-side energy storage project in Northern Jiangsu.
